Our Fallen Heroes
The inaugural IPM 9/11 Medal w/ valor honorees were the officers who perished on September 11, 2001. In a ceremony in New York City on November 25, 2012 the Superintendent of Police & Public Safety Michael Fordorko IPM from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department and New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly IPM accepted the 9/11 Medals with valor, on behalf of the families.
